The scenic Bhutan has plenty of trekking and camping opportunities spread across the rocky countryside with deep daunting valleys, old-fashioned attractive hamlets, blossoming meadows and beautiful forests of Oak and rhododendrons. There are some treks that are shorter and hence pleasant and safe throughout the year. However, it is advisable to visit the place for trekking during October – November and March – May. For example, treks namely Druk Path, Bumthang, Gangtey are short and safe round the year.
Western world is invariably attracted to the Himalayan ranges for trekking and Bhutan offers truly unique flavor of trekking at Bhutan with the extensively untouched natural habitats and old-fashioned local people. The panoramic view is simply unparallel with a trek through the subtropical forests to alpine shrubs with a vast variety of Himalayan flora and fauna. Moreover, the population of Bhutan is so less and settled in a very scattered manner. As a result, days of walking along the trek path may not result in a singular sight of a settlement.
The culture, architecture and traditions of Bhutan are rare and exclusive. As tourist pass by the supercilious Dzongs and Lamaist fortresses against the back drop of snowcapped peaks steal hearts of tourists.
Our Trekking tours range from four to twenty five days. The sacred mountain of Bhutan , Chamolhari, is the most popular trek in the country. Druk Path, Bumthang and Lhunthse offer moderate to easy trek for tourists, who are more after cultural experience than hiking. Laya Lunana and Snowman treks, on the other hand, are the most challenging and longest trek across Himalayas .
